learn how to make ice cream.
If you’re looking for new ice cream flavor sensations, Recipe of the Week: Ice Cream: 52 Easy Recipes for Year-Round Frozen Treats is just what you will need.
It gives you a year’s worth of delectably different recipes for your ice cream maker–from Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Ice Cream to Green Tea Gelato. Regardless of whether you want a delicious dessert for your family members or an elegant ending for a supper party, this full-color book is chock-full of excellent ice cream ideas–everything you need to unleash your ice cream creativity and put a smile on everyone’s face.
Sally Sampson’s concoctions range from the classic store-bought French Vanilla to the exotic Avocado Gelato, Grape-Nuts® Ice Cream, or an Orange Granita. Each recipe contains a clear ingredient list, step-by-step directions, and typically a stunning photograph of the treat. Each and every week one could sample a new ice cream, progressing through the seasons (though eggnog ice cream is listed halfway through), as the tested recipes are listed to take advantage of spring and summer fruits and later hearty nuts and heavenly chocolates.

Pros And Cons Of Recipe Of The Week
Pros: Good news – the recipes in this book are said to be lower in sugar and fat than most commercially prepared ice creams and they will certainly taste better without the additives and preservatives.
Cons: I don’t really have any cons at this time, other than be ready to gain a little weight, or exercise it off, as it is hard to just have a little of home made ice cream. 🙂
